The International Plowing Match and Farm Machinery Show is one of the premier agricultural showcases in North America. It attracts some of the best plowmen from around the world and is one of the largest farm machinery shows on the continent. The Ontario Plowmen's Association, in co-operation with the many county plowmen's associations in the province, has sponsored the International Plowing Match and Farm Machinery Show since 1913. The Match is held annually in a different Ontario county and attracts more than 150 competitors from across Canada. This year the plowmen will be competing for more than $35,000 in prize money.
